2020 Freedom Ride
Join Chapter 45 of the Special Forces Association as we raise funds to honor and support the Green Berets of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and their families.
Where: Meet at A.D. Farrow Co. Harley-Davidson,

Prior to departure we will have the grill fired up with FREE food and drink to help fuel the mission.
Kickstands up at 1400 hours
What: Meet N Greet the most highly skilled, Special Forces in the U.S. Then ride with them to the Buckeye Lake Winery!
Live bands at both locations!
Food and Drinks are available at the Winery at additional costs.
50/50 Drawings will be held at both locations.
Cool items will be auctioned off at the Winery that are a must have!
Special Forces apparel and Ride patch available
$20 per rider. Proceeds directly support the men and families of Ohio’s only Green Beret unit.

SSG Shamus Goare
who was killed in action
in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.
A native of Danville, Ohio, Staff Sergeant Shamus O. Goare died 28 June 2005 when his MH-47 Chinook helicopter was shot down by a rocket propelled grenade near Jalalabad, Afghanistan, while supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
Goare enlisted in the Army as a Medium Lift Helicopter Repairer in 1994. After several assignments, including duty in Korea, he completed Green Platoon and was assigned as a Flight Engineer to 3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.
SSG Goare was supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM at the time of his death.
